Hello all, Securitas here.
Some of you here in the Events forum may remember my(along with Satrani) free lotteries a few months ago, over the course of which we gave out almost one billion ISK. As a further reference, I also write for EVE-Mag.com. Now with a bit of time on my hands I'm back to try something new: a neverending lottery. Here's how it works:
You send me the ISK for a ticket, I use the total pot to make investments, and every month I pay out a prize or prizes, depending on the amount of ISK in the pot.
Quick Summary:
Ticket Price: 5,000,000 ISK each
Ticket Limit: None
Character to give to: Securitas Protector
Typed Reason for Donation: [Your Name Here], X Tickets
Prize Size: Based on the number of tickets in the pot and investments - seriously. I'll be able to give better estimates after the first month.
Step 1: You decide that you can trust me after looking me up and finding that I've never scammed anyone and I have run free lotteries before.
Step 2: You open up EVE, right click on my name, and click "Give Money." You type in 5,000,000 times the number of tickets you want.
Step 3: You make a reply to this forum post stating number of tickets purchased and that you've sent the ISK.
Step 4: I include your name and number of tickets in a spreadsheet(no problem making this public) and possibly post your name in a reply post.
Step 5: I make investments and keep myself busy for the next month.
Step 6: On the first of every month, I hand out prizes to a randomly chosen contestant[s](lotteries won't work because of unset number of tickets) chosen by random.org. This is trust-based, and although I realize it's in short supply in EVE, hopefully we can work something out. I recommend if you're unsure but want to try this to simply try only 5,000,000 the first time and see how it works out. If I scam you, you'll love 5,000,000 ISK and I'll lose my reputation. If required, I'll make a corporation and allow audits - if that what it takes.
Step 7: Your ticket stays in the pot forever, giving you a chance to win for the life of the lottery.

Thanks everyone for the confidence and support!
Just want to make something clear so I don't give you all the wrong idea. First of all, this lottery, by nature, will have VASTLY lower prizes(at least until the pot grows sizeably) than comparable lotteries simply because of the fact that I'm using interest and you get to keep your tickets forever.
Even if I was a world class investor and got 12% per month(not even close, more like 2% on months where I'm super busy to 10% on months with lots of leisure) the rewards would not be large until the pot was very large...so the way I'd think of this lottery is a kind of an income that runs in the background; you buy tickets and forget about it until you win.
On the bright side, remember that once a prize is given out, the value of the next prize will always be greater: if you get a cruiser this time, rest assured that no matter what, more will be given out next time(because of a larger pot.)
I just wanted to relieve any massive expectations of loads of cash made from this up front...I intend to develop this to it's fullest, but I can't work magic(believe me I wish.)
Anyway best of luck and hopefully this wasn't too scary or shocking. Remember the more that's in the pot the more the prize will be.

Well I'm not sure about lots of ISK Gryph, at least not yet...remember the tradeoff of always having a ticket is having less reward - at least until we hit a critical point of ISK. I ran the estimates for this month, and at this rate I estimate the final prize will be worth maybe 3-4 million ISK, mostly because the first few days had little investment, although there's still plenty of room for it to grow in between now and then.
Overall I'm quite happy with where this is going.

I'm proud to say that in 2 days we will be paying out over 12M ISK due to increased investment. Thank you all for making this such a success.
NEXT month it'll be even higher, we have some secure investments paying 7% and 22.5% per month, respectively. I'd expect prizes to jump to 20-30M next month, not counting new investments.
Gryphius has been hired as my new Investment Manager as I'm sure you all know, his job will be to get as high-interest, secure investment as possible.
UPDATE: NVRSTOP employees will begin receiving pay when the pot reaches 750M ISK.

When NVRSTOP hits 500m I'm going to open up a new financial service under the Securitas. corporation. I'll make a post in market discussions and I'd like everyone who trusts me to say so there when I make the post. :)
This is what I'm planning:
BlueBank will be a large, publicly-owned Blueprint Bank. I'll do phased expansions. Here's how it'll work:
Every so often I'll sell a certain number of Securitas. shares at 50m apiece. With this ISK I will purchase BPO's and put them into research and copying. Shareholders will receive an amount of ISK proportional to the number of shares they have, with all revenue being generated from the copying of said blueprints. Shareholders will also receive free blueprint copies every so often - this will be elaborated on later.
This is emphasized as being for those who want to try something new; there are no guarantees as to profitability. Once again Market Discussions is a cynical place, so to make it'll need your support.

I'm proud to announce that Kuljukka won our lottery. Right now the withdrawal in Dynasty Bank of 15,000,000 ISK is pending, I have had 3.5m returned from Drab Cane, Gryphius should supply at least 3m, maybe 5, and my Caracal Blueprint will probably supply about 5-10m profit. All in all the prize will be at least 20m, probably closer to 30, to be paid as soon as all investments return.

22,000,000.00 ISK sent - BPO sale should generate about 7-8 million which I'll send as soon as it sells.
Regarding bonds and BlueBank - Well, a couple of prints just came out of research and my research director and I are trying to get them sold. I'm not sure how long that'll be. Sorry about all of this, but I'm quite new to the business. Expected profits to be paid in dividends by the end of the month is probably about 30-40,000,000 ISK.

Simen - Share release will happen when I pay the dividends off of this month. Because I started kind of off-kilter, that may be as late as early next month. I'll give advance warning of a few days, but it will be a 500m expansion once again.

Hey all. From June 6 to July 9 I will be away without access to EVE. I will be on the forums though. NVRSTOP will be paid as usual, and Alesk Remo will handle all BlueBank concerns...as well as possibly Ecaf Ersa. Both are well trusted members of the community and I know them well.

Cyrgon Flyingmachine has been paid his preliminary dues, I'm going on vacation(flying to europe within a few hours from now) with no access to EVE, so I assure all of you, especially BlueBank investors that I will be back on the 9th of July. Alesk Remo has most of the blueprints and they are undergoing research, so while he is not managing the Bank, you can contact him to verify that they are safe.
The remainder of all financial business will be concluded when I return.
